Matt and Indian Brother?

In Chapter 21, Saknis offers to take Matt with the Beaver tribe as the move along for the big fall hunt.  They will not be returning to this land.  If Matt were to have gone, he could have learned to hunt moose and be an Indian Brother.  He would have a family.  Matt wasn't sure if his own family was returning, but he decided to stay.  If you were Matt, what would you have chosen and why?

In Chapter 16, Matt is invited to Attean's camp for the feast of the bear.  What did you think of it?  If you were Matt,  how would you have felt going there?

Where is Matt's Family?

A couple chapters ago, Matt mentioned that he had marked 7 sticks with 7 notches.  Hmmmm...shouldn't his family be here by now?  What do you think happened?  What are your predictions about his family?
